Vocalising the genius of Nancarrow

I love the music of Nancarrow so much I just had to sing it. In 2016 I set myself the task of transcribing versions of his piano rolls for my own voice and multi-tracking the result.

This project is performed live with the pre-recorded voices coming from different channels and one voice sung live.

I premiered this at La Plaque Tournante in Berlin and it was featured at the CTM festival in Berlin and the Kammerklang series Cafe Oto London.
